Thinking beyond the beginning, intermediate, and advanced CLAIR books?
Second and third year JET’s are offered two correspondence courses from CLAIR, one in translation/interpretation, the other in linguistics/pedagogy. Correspondence is sent directly to JET’s from CLAIR concerning these courses. The JET Programme Resource Materials Handbook also lists other correspondence courses available.
For intensive study, a summer course may be what you're looking for:
